Why a Warranty Claim Could Be Denied

Altered Products

Warranties typically only apply to products that have not been altered or modified after they were purchased. For example, if you decide to change a part on your tool with another part that is not compatible with it or make any enhancements to the tool can void the warranty. Many modifications can nullify the tool's warranty coverage because they can affect the tool's reliability in ways that the manufacturer will not be responsible for.

Owner Actions

We require multiple proof  to show that the product failed in normal use. If the product failed because of the owner's actions rather than a fault in the design or manufacturing, the warranty is not likely to be honored. For instance, the owner might have placed the product in an extreme environment that was too hot or too cold for its reasonable use. It is important that you read the owner's manual for proper instructions on use and care of your tool prior to using it.
